DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR ARRIVAL TIME?

This is a subtitle for your new post

All moves are subject to time variations. We are regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, who acting with the Federal Department of Transportation, has the duty to ensure that the roads are safe. One of these duties entails ensuring that heavy duty trucks are in compliance. This means that they can and do regularly stop and inspect trucks for safety. We are mandated to adhere to these inspections or run the risk of being put out of service. These inspections can take between 15 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the officer.
We are also at the mercy of traffic conditions, weather, roadway restriction (weight limits, over head clearance heights, etc.). Customers also dictate are scheduling. Until we arrive on a move we trust that the shipper has given us a good idea of their inventory and/or the time they need to complete the move when they are scheduling their move. Sometimes, despite their best intentions, the shipper has significantly underestimated the inventory of their goods. This translates to a move taking longer than we have scheduled or needing additional equipment that was not scheduled. We will notify you as soon as it becomes apparent that we will miss our targeted time for your appointment. Therefore we must ask for flexibility in our arrival time for afternoon moves

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SCREWS FROM MY FURNITURE? Many times beds and other furniture items are assembled with screws or other hardware. We recommend that you have some sealable baggies available to put them in and label them per item (kind bed, queen bed, Mary's bed, Tommy's dresser mirror screws) and so forth.

DO YOU MOVE SAFES? I get this question a lot. And yes, we do. But we need to know a lot more about the safe than, "it's heavy"!! Make/brand Model Height Weight Depth Stairs at load address? Stairs at unload address? Going over grass at either address? Will it be empty? Does the door come off? Basically I need to know everything about it so that I can plan and have proper resources.
