Can I ride in the truck to the unload?
I honestly get this question more than you think!
The short answer is no.
The long answer is no, because insurance companies don't like that and there probably isn't any room in the cab of the truck anyway. And have you ever tried to get into the cab of a moving truck? The step is a big step!
And you REALLY REALLY can't ride in the cargo area. REALLY.
Have I ever gotten a call from my lead to say that this sweet elderly lady has to get on the TARC to get to the unload? Yes.
Have I gotten into my car and driven to the load to get this sweet lady and drive her to the unload? Yes. But I am really not supposed to.
Insurance just doesn't like all that. If we were to get in an accident while en route, it would be horrible and in this litigious society, I would likely get sued because some people are always looking for a payday.
So as much as we would love to be able to help in these situations, we are truly limited in what we can do. It's best to have a family member or friend drive you if you don't or can't drive. Uber or Lyft are also very viable options right now.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SCREWS FROM MY FURNITURE? Many times beds and other furniture items are assembled with screws or other hardware. We recommend that you have some sealable baggies available to put them in and label them per item (kind bed, queen bed, Mary's bed, Tommy's dresser mirror screws) and so forth.

DO YOU MOVE SAFES? I get this question a lot. And yes, we do. But we need to know a lot more about the safe than, "it's heavy"!! Make/brand Model Height Weight Depth Stairs at load address? Stairs at unload address? Going over grass at either address? Will it be empty? Does the door come off? Basically I need to know everything about it so that I can plan and have proper resources.
