MARGARET'S MOVING & STORAGE
We want to be the only mover you'll ever need!

Voted WLKY #1 and WHAS Top 3 Mover in Louisville!!!

BAMN ENTERPRISES, LLC  D/B/A

When selecting a mover, make sure they are;
  • Licensed; all movers, Interstate (moving state to state) or Intrastate (moving within the state) must be licensed. Interstate is regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Once Licensed (called an Authority) the mover (also called the Carrier) should have a MC number assigned to them. This can be verified at www.safersysy.org.  Intrastate moving is regulated by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KTC). Once licensed the KTC issues a "Certificate". That number is usually a 4 digit number such as DMT 3660. Both licensing requires insurance information be provided to that agency. However, you can view it online at the links provided.

  • Insured
  • Local (not a Broker or national chain)

We are proud to be members of the non-profit organization

Claims Prevention &
Procedure Council (CPPC)

While damage and claims are not the thing most people want to talk about, it is a fact that despite any movers best intentions, sometimes accidents do happen. It is how that claim is handled that separates the good companies from the bad companies. We became members to be proactive in reducing claims and to make sure we are on top of industry regulations in dealing with them professionally and fairly.

Additionally, we have recently added the Certified PAcker/Loader program through the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) to our training program. The AMSA reports that companies are reducing their claims for damage and injury substantially after implementing this program!

We have the ONLY American Moving & Storage Association Certified Office & Industrial Consultant in the State of Kentucky.

We are proud to announce that we are members of the
Kentucky Household Goods Carriers Association (KHCGA)!

We know that times are tough for some Kentuckiana families.  So we are showing our support by collecting donated canned goods that we deliver to Kentucky Harvest.  It is our way to help local families; one can, one family, one move at a time. And thanks to those who have already helped!!! In 2009 & 2010 we donated over 10,000 canned goods to Kentucky Harvest/ Blessings in a Backpack!!
We were in the top 20 contributors.
